Angad Software ("we", "us") operates the Simple Mehndi Designs mobile application (the "App")
and this website. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App,
including push notifications we may send about new Mehndi designs and app updates.
1. Information we collect
- Network access: The App loads Mehndi design images and category data from our servers. Your device sends standard technical requests (such as URLs) as part of normal use.
- Device storage: Favorites and downloads you save are stored locally on your phone until you remove them or uninstall the App.
- Advertising identifier: The App uses your device's Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android) to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization in Settings > Google > Ads on your device.
- Push notifications: If you allow notifications, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google. FCM may assign your device a push token and subscribe it to a broadcast topic (for example, all_users) so we can send alerts about new designs. We do not require you to create an account to receive notifications.
- We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data through the App.
2. How we use information
- To display categories, thumbnails, and full-screen designs you request.
- To remember favorites and downloads on your device.
- To serve advertisements and measure ad performance.
- To send optional push notifications you have allowed (for example, new Mehndi designs or important app updates).
- To improve stability and compatibility of the App.
3. Push notifications
Push notifications are optional. They work as follows:
- On first launch (or when prompted), Android may ask for permission to show notifications. You can decline or later turn them off in your device Settings > Apps > Simple Mehndi Designs > Notifications.
- If you allow notifications, the App registers with Firebase and may join a topic used for general announcements to all subscribers. We do not use notifications to collect your name, email, or phone number.
- Messages are composed and sent from our admin systems through Google's FCM service. We do not sell your push token or notification data.
- Notification content may include a title, short message, and optionally open a category in the App when you tap the alert.
- If you uninstall the App or disable notifications, you will stop receiving pushes. Uninstalling removes locally stored App data on your device, subject to your operating system.

5. Third-party services
The App may use services that process data according to their own policies:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications) — Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob (advertising) — Privacy Policy
- Picasso (image loading) — runs on your device; does not collect personal data by itself
6. Data retention
- Favorites and downloads remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
- FCM tokens and topic subscriptions are managed by Google Firebase according to Google's retention practices while the App remains installed and notifications are enabled.
- Ad-related data is retained according to Google's policies.
- Server logs, if any, are handled according to our hosting and security practices.
7. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.
8. Your choices
- Allow or deny notification permission when the App asks, or change it anytime in device Settings.
- Opt out of personalized ads in Settings > Google > Ads.
- Clear favorites or downloads in the App where available.
- Uninstall the App to stop notifications and remove local App data, subject to your device.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy. For significant changes, we may also notify you through the App or push notification where appropriate.
